Matthew Quinn
The #1-ranked amateur triathlete in California, qualified for his pro license and racing his professional debut season in 2027.
About
Matthew Quinn grew up in Santa Cruz, California, and ran cross country before heading to UCLA, where he surfed competitively and earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
After multiple overall wins and third place at the 2026 USA Triathlon National Championship, where he qualified for his pro license, he makes his professional debut in 2027, racing mainly IRONMAN 70.3 in the U.S. and internationally.
His greatest motivation is his dad, a former captain of the Princeton track and field team and a world-class distance runner, who introduced him to serious training and pushed him to find his limits. His dad passed away in December 2024, and Matthew races in his memory.
